Grinding fresh is the step that matters most. Pre-ground coffee loses the oils that make crema within about fifteen minutes of grinding.

The steam wand is a proper manual one. It takes a week to learn and then it makes better milk than any automatic frother.

Thirty grind settings and a 54mm portafilter. Both are wide enough to dial in a real shot rather than approximate one.
